What to eat in the evening? Light foods with protein!
Most of you should already know that you shouldn’t eat anything “heavy” in the evening. In the evening you should eat something “light”. But what is “light” food and what is “heavy” food? below we’re going to explain what is that and what to eat in the evening, so keep reading.
Before we’re going to explain what to eat in the evening, we want to remind you that you should try not to eat at least 2 hours before you go to sleep. Also, never eat anything just before you go to sleep, because that is even worse than to eat let’s say half an hour before sleep. Bad eating habits can lead to health conditions such as acid reflux, and you really don’t want to experience that. Remember this simple rule if you want to make further steps of being healthy.
Now let’s get to the point of what to eat in the evening. First of all, try not to eat anything “heavy” and “heavy” means foods with a lot of fat. Also, don’t eat anything with a lot of carbs, because you should eat foods like that in the first half of the day. Eat “light” foods and “light” means foods with as little fat as possible. For your dinner, you should eat foods with proteins. You can eat lean meats, for example, chicken breast and everything else that fits the description of “lean meats”.
Normally, most people eat their dinner at least 3-4 hours before sleep, and you might can get hungry after your dinner till you go to sleep. So here is some “light” snacks if you get hungry after your dinner: Popcorn, Cottage Cheese, Salad, Fruit Cups…
